tthree little chilis

3 little chillis.

planting  own vegetable? well, i tried it  3 months ago, and the result turn  disastrous. the only consolation was the chillis, it grown into a tiny plant, with 3 little chills hanging on the twits that look so fragile, bcoz i din put in fertilizer, just be natural, and ofcourse, no pesticides too. it does not worth the trouble growing own vegge, why? bcoz i have to water it everyday and remove some worms that attack the plant, and what i got were 3 little chillis after more then 3weeks of watering the plant, i think the costs of the water costs more than the chillis itself. There is something called "green fingers" which i think you lack. If you water the plant everyday that is called "flooding" the plant which results in everything being drained out before the plant absorbs whatever it requires. Natural fertilizers are essential similiarly to our human body which require some form of minerals. I guess you should start reading before planting :p Good luck

ooh..I agree with u..all that hardwork and little reap u get. But think what joy you get out of plucking your own hardwork. Plus..those 3 chillies could come in handy when you need just those exact amount in a recipe. Try buying 3 chilies from the green grocer and see what nasty look he'll give you

'elo annie..
My problem is that birds eat the chilli. They actually wait until they are ripe and red b4 attacking! There are usually a few left behind. I wonder if the birds actually choose which ones they eat and are actually leaving me the "not so good" ones!! angry-man vs happy-bird! lol

Anniechong,
You asked : aircool, red chillis costs more than the green ones. do u know WHY? "
hmm..may be to get the red chillis, you need an additional process/afford to ask those green chillis to jump from high and fall down become bloody "red chillis" gua
so an additional cost shall added for that additional afford/process loh
Am I rite, miss anniechong?

First some tips about gardening:
1) Do not water the plants during noon time. Or when it's very hot.. u want to water them either in the morning of late evening. Just like making love... should not do it during noon time
2) you need to prune the twigs, if you prune it right, then your plants will be very healthy. same thing with pubic hair... you want to trim them so that their stay nice and bushy
3) occasionally you need to 'air' the soil.. After awhile, you will noticed the soil will become hard.. so its time to get a small shovel to 'turn' the soil..  just like what you'd do after your rice is cooked on the rice cooker.. you shove the laddle in and turn turn turn.. so that your rice become fluffy..  same goes with having sex.. should try different positions.. techniques.. and at different places.. role playing also nice, else if dont change it will be very boring
4) some plants like chilli or bourgenvilla.. does not need to be watered everyday.. maybe your chilli got drowned by too much watering quar. Some women might feel tremendous pressure if they have to perform sex everyday... so same goes with plants

Annie, my late father is very good in planting, esp the chillies. he planted the small a bit white but spicy type. all the chillies will point-up to d sky & he'll harvest almost every few days, packed it & sell to friends or d vege sellers in the market. 50 pcs/pack for RM1 ringgit. sometimes i hv to help him to count & pack, coz' it's almost a basket full. heplanted in d area not bigger than 10 x 10 ft.
now i planted a "longan" tree. d bark now is about 1 inch width & d tree is about 3 ft high.  dunno when it can start to bear fruits. lols

Jerry, u said the chillies yr dad planted one that point up the sky, i think it was the Thailand variety, mine chilis pointing downward, the local ones. the longan tree is now 3 fts tall? i think u need to wait for 3 years more for the tree to bear  fruits, so, in the mean time just admire it..lol..

annie, i dunno what species, but it's smaller than normal green bird chillies. it's quite "fragrance" & spicy when eaten. we like to hv it just with soya sauce.
d longan are d left over seeds after i makan.  notice dat d stem start coming out, i put in my red palm flower pot  till it's about 6 inches in height. then, i shifted to in front of my hse, next to d playground & let it grow. i think it's quite "fat" lookin at the size of its trunk.

jerry, like i said, u slowly, slowly wait for the tree to bear fruits in 3 years time, and when that time  eventually come to bear fruits, i'm afraid the next day, the tree will be rift off the longans  due to night theft.

we used to plant vegetables and fruit trees in our old house. the house was sold due to flood. now the land all cement up by the new owner, sometimes i still dream of that house at night. for our own vegetables, we also put racun serangga la, but can only harvest 2 weeks or 3 weeks after spraying it, i forgot how many weeks
